Head Master Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Instructor

Diego “Nosferatu” Herzog is a professional MMA fighter with a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu from Florianópolis, Brazil. Currently residing in Northern California (Morgan Hill), he is passionate about traveling around the globe training, teaching, and fighting.
Diego is the head master Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor at World Team USA. Training with the Ralph Gracie elite fight team in California and running the Diego Herzog BJJ program is where you’ll find him on an average day.

During his teen years while training in Brazil, Diego’s day often ended with blood on his gi. Henceforth, Herzog is also known as ‘Nosferatu’, nicknamed after the famed vampire. Receiving his black belt in 2006, Nosferatu has over 20 years of Martial Arts training including brazilian jiu-jitsu, muay thai, boxing, judo, capoeira, and wrestling. He also holds a BA in Physical Education & Sports from UNISUL – Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina in Florianópolis.

Diego Herzog moved to the United States in 2010, starting his stateside journey in SoCal. Now living in NorCal with his wife, Virginia ‘Jenny’ Herzog and his furry best friend Estrela, he enjoys surfing, hiking, playing soccer and chess during his free time. Passionate about traveling for seminars, training with elite athletes, and fighting for competition — Diego ‘Nosferatu’ Herzog is a seasoned athlete and competitor.
